A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of stealing a car and leading law enforcement on a chase.

The Grimes County Sheriff's Office said Charles Joshua Raines led them on a chase on Friday after it was reported he was driving a car stolen from Bryan.

During the chase, the patrol vehicle was damaged by Raines. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deployed spike strips, causing the car to come to a stop in a pasture off of State Highway 105. He then ran away on foot and deputies were unable to catch him.

Raines is wanted for numerous felony warrants from multiple agencies including the Grimes County Sheriff's Office, Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

If you have any information on Raines' whereabouts, contact the Grimes County Crimestoppers at 936-873-2000.
