Two women were arrested for abandoning and endangering children.
College Station police responded to the 1500 block of Valley View on reports of child abandonment. Police said that when they arrived, they found five children varying in ages of 5-months-old to 11-years-old. The children were left in an unsafe and unsanitary home, according to police.
Police arrested Elizabeth Pineda, 25, and Kassandra Gaona, 25, for abandoning or endangering a child.
Some of the children were released to responsible parties and others placed with CPS.
