With one signature, former Robinson pitcher Braxton Ashcraft earned $1.825 million dollars.
The 6 foot 5 inch right hander signed his professional contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization Friday.
Pirates officials selected Ashcraft with the 51st overall pick of the 2018 MLB draft.
The former Rocket is known for his mid-90's fastball and breaking pitches, but scouts believe adding muscle onto a wiry 195 pound frame could increase Ashcraft's velocity.
Now, Ashcraft will play for the Pirates minor league organization.
