Two people were arrested after a raid in Coryell County.

The raid happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday near the 100 block of CR 931.

The Coryell County Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Texas Department of Public Safety conducted the raid after receiving a tip about a major methamphetamine operation at the location.

Coryell County Chief Deputy Mark Wilcox said that suspect James Miller was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence. No meth or other drugs were found at the location.

Around 5:30pm on Thursday evening Coryell County sheriffs, the U.S. Drug enforcement administration and DPS Troopers conducted a drug raid at 168 CR 931.

Wilcox said that a second person was found a mile and a half from the location. This suspect was found in possession of meth. The person was charged with possession of a controlled substance, but their identity was not released at this time.

This is an ongoing investigation.
