A former Milam County Jail Captain will avoid jail time after she pleaded guilty to second-degree felony theft.
Milam County District Attorney's Office said 43-year-old Katrina Carie Douglas has been placed on 10 years deferred adjudication probation and was ordered to pay $41,000 in restitution to the county along with $15,000 to the county for the audit and a $5,000 fine.
The district attorney's office said she pleaded guilty to theft of $2,500 to $150,000 - public servant on April 4.
