Baylor volleyball released its 27-match fall 2018 schedule Tuesday morning, announced by fourth-year head coach Ryan McGuyre.

Featuring 15 home matches and a total of 14 matches against eight NCAA teams from the 2017 postseason, the Bears will look to continue building on a historic ‘17 campaign in hopes of securing the program’s first-ever third consecutive NCAA Tournament bid.

Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.BaylorBears.com/tickets. Single-game tickets, including for Pack The House Night against LSU on Aug. 24, will go on sale on Aug. 1.

Pack The House Night - all ages (Aug. 24 vs. LSU at 7 p.m. CT): $1

The Bears start the season by trekking to Denver for a 7 p.m. exhibition on Aug. 17 against the Pioneers.

Baylor has a final exhibition tune up in the annual Green and Gold Scrimmage, showcasing the 2018 team on Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. with free admission.

The regular season kicks off with the Hampton Inn & Suites Waco North Baylor Invitational, running Aug. 24-25, featuring LSU, Texas State and Marquette.

The 7 p.m. match with LSU on Aug. 24 is Pack the House Night, with all tickets marked down to just $1. The Bears conclude the tournament on Aug. 25 with matches against Texas State at 10:30 a.m. and Marquette at 7 p.m.

BU stays at home for a midweek matchup against North Texas, starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 28.

The Bears then kick off their road schedule with a two-match weekend against postseason teams UCLA (Aug. 31) and San Diego (Sept. 1) in San Diego, Calif.

Baylor then returns home to host NCAA Round of 16 participant Wisconsin on Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.

BU will then host its second and final home tournament, with the Baylor Classic running Sept. 7-8 and bringing in UTRGV and Rice.

Baylor will close out its non-conference schedule with a trip to the UTSA Tournament to face the host Roadrunners on Sept. 14 and Virginia Tech on Sept. 15. Both matches are set for noon CT.

The Bears then move into the 16-match Big 12 slate, kicking off Sept. 19 against Texas Tech in Waco at 7 p.m. and closing on Nov. 21 back in the Ferrell Center with West Virginia at 7 p.m.

NCAA Tournament play kicks off the following weekend with the First and Second Rounds hosted by the top 16 seeds Nov. 29-Dec. 1.

The Regionals rounds go Dec. 7-8, leading into the NCAA National Semifinals and Championship match on Dec. 13 and 15.

Baylor is coming off a 24-7 (13-3 Big 12) campaign in 2017, returning All-Americans Yossiana Pressley, Shelly Fanning and Hannah Lockin to a 2018 team that is looking for its third-straight postseason berth.
