A woman surrendered to authorities on June 12 following her recent indictment charges.

According to the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Madi Hardin had a secure loan for the purchase of a John Deere 7830 tractor. She allegedly sold the tractor in January 2016 but failed to pay the loan holder the outstanding balance.

On May 25, TSCRA Special Ranger Marvin Willis presented to a grand jury to indict Hardin on charges of hindering secured creditors. The charge is a third-degree felony due to the value she sold, according to the TSCRA. Hardin could face up to 10 years in prison with $10,000 in fines.

Hardin turned herself into authorities on June 12 and was booked into custody. She was then released after posting a $20,000 bond.
