Former McLennan Community College standout Josh Breaux signed a $1.5 million dollar contract with the New York Yankees today.

The Yankees selected the catcher in the second round with the 61st overall pick.

Breaux hit .404 for the Highlanders this past season racking up 69 RBIs and scoring 61 runs himself. The Tomball native was a first-team all-conference selection as well as a third-team All-American.
