By now, you've heard the International House of Pancakes is now calling itself "IHOb," swapping the "pancakes" for "burgers."
Beloved Texas chain Whataburger has responded to the change in the best way. The restaurant took to Twitter promising fans they would never change their name to "Whatapancake."
As much as we love our pancakes, we'd never change our name to Whatapancake— Whataburger® (@Whataburger) June 11, 2018
Other social media users also don't seem impressed by the name change.
ihob should be pronounced with long o sound, as in Ihob this is a joke— Rosa Goldensohn (@RosaGoldensohn) June 11, 2018
No IHOP, No! You had one job. One. All ya had to do was serve cinnamon pancakes every Sunday and everything would be ok. I don’t even recognize you anymore. @IHOb you’ve changed. More like International House of Lies. #IHOP #IHOb pic.twitter.com/gUS7AndiOc— The AlphaGinger (@TheAlphaGing) June 11, 2018
You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become IHOB— Ahmed Baba (@AhmedBaba_) June 11, 2018
