Sheriff's office say man arrested after sexual assault of mentally disabled person

A man was arrested after officials say he sexually assaulted a mentally disabled individual. 

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said the assault happened on Wednesday, June 6 in Carlton. 

Officials said that Loyd Woolsey, 70, had allegedly sexually assaulted a mentally disabled individual. 

Woolsey was arrested by HCSO investigators on June 9. Woolsey was charged with sexual assault, a second-degree felony. 

If convicted, Woolsey could face up to 20 years in prison, a $10,000 fine and will be required to register as a sex offender.
