Former Baylor running back Terence Williams is leaving Waco for the University of Houston according to the Houston Chronicle.

Williams rushed for more than a thousand yards in 2016, but saw his role dramatically decrease last season with the emergence of Jamycal Hasty and Trestan  Ebner.

Williams had his share of disciplinary issues under coach Matt Rhule as well. Last October, coaches removed Williams from the team for rules violations, but a board of his peers voted that he should stay on.

The former Bear will join a Houston backfield whose leading rusher, Mulbah Car, only had 388 yards and 3 TDs last season.
