The Heart of Texas Water Garden and Pond Society hosts its annual Parade of Ponds starting June 2.
Members open their backyards to the general public to display the latest trends in landscaping and water gardening.
Participants are given a detailed map to find the various locations in and around the Waco area.
The Water Garden and Pond Society members say it's a great way to get to know people in your community.
"Our pond members work very hard all year on their ponds to display them once a year, and they're very proud of them and we've got great families, and kids come over all the time. It's a fun outing," said the Heart of Texas Water Garden and Pond Society President, Jerry Coffee.
