Baylor baseball brought the score within one, but a late flurry by Cal State Fullerton was enough to win the game 6-2 in Friday's Palo Alto regional.

Reigning Big 12 pitcher of the year Cody Bradford threw well, but the Titans felt some magic with two outs.

In the second frame, Fullerton got a pair of hits before a two out double scored their first two runs of the game. A two out single in the sixth would make the score 3-0 before Baylor was able to get anything going.

The bottom of the sixth was good to the Bears. They started off with two hits before a Davis Wendzel ground out scored their first run of the game. Andy Thomas would add another run after his hard hit to the first baseman was dropped by the Titans pitcher racing to cover the bag.

Unfortunately, the ninth would spell disaster for the Bears. Baylor got the Titans to two outs yet again before a T.J. Raguse lost a pop-up in the sun that led to more scoring for Fullerton.

Baylor now falls to the elimination bracket where they will play the loser of Stanford and Wright State Saturday night at five.
