A Central Texas student’s mother was charged with a felony on the unlawful carrying of a weapon in a prohibited place on Thursday.

The district said that Gloria Woods went to Killeen High School after she was warned by police to stay away from the campus. She arrived at the school on Wednesday and entered the school’s main office. Woods was then removed from the office and was arrested on a trespass warrant by Killeen ISD police.

The district said that once Woods was transported to jail she told officers she was carrying a weapon. Police found a concealed loaded .40 caliber pistol and a full ammunition clip.

Woods is being held at the Bell County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
