A Palo Alto Middle School seventh-grader was arrested on Friday for threatening the school's principal and assaulting a Killeen Independent School District police officer, the district confirmed.
Killeen ISD Chief Communications Officer Terry Abbott said the 13-year-old girl made a verbal threat against the life of the principal before assaulting the officer.
She was charged with making a terroristic threat against a public servant, assault on a public servant and resisting arrest. She was brought to the Bell County Juvenile Detention facility.
