Election results are coming for Tuesday's primaries.

In two Central Texas counties, the number of voters who participated in early voting for the primary runoff elections is higher than in the past.

In Bell County, where there are primaries for both parties, 2,500 additional people voted early this time around than in 2014. In addition, 800 more voters went to the polls early for a runoff election than in 2016.

The Democratic Party in McLennan County is the only party holding an election on Tuesday.

"The only thing we have in McLennan County is Andrew White and Lupe Valdez so it cuts down on the people that are excited and to go vote. Honestly anytime that the polls open, good citizens should go out and vote," McLennan County Democratic Party Chairman Mary Duty said.

The turnout is already higher than the early voting period of previous primary runoff elections in McLennan County.
