The Robinson Volunteer Fire Department collected donations for their fill the boot fundraiser at Brookshire Brothers in Robinson, on Saturday, May 19
Each dollar dropped in the boot goes to the muscular dystrophy association, to help people dealing with the disease right here in Central Texas.
"Firefighters do it all across the city all across the state. It's our chance to do something and give back," said Luke Rawlings of Robinson Volunteer Fire Department.
The Robinson Volunteer Fire Department says if you don't see them out but you still want to donate, you can drop by the station to fill the boot at 214 Strauss Street.
