Family of 4 displaced after house fire in Temple

TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) -

The Temple Fire Department said a family of four have been displaced after a house fire in Temple. 

The fire happened at 717 N.1st St. around 9 p.m.

The Temple Police Department said on Twitter that the backside of the house caught fire. 

No one was inside the home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. 

Investigators are working on the cause of the fire. 

Fire damage was to the rear porch, back bedroom and attic.
