Bellmead police have arrested a man after two girls reported that he sexually assaulted them when they were under the age of 14.
Police said the girls reported that they would occasionally visit and stay at a friend's house. During some of those visits, the friend's uncle, 33-year-old Carlos Albert Turrubiartes, would unwantedly touch them. On at least one occasion, he sexually assaulted the girls, police said.
Turrubiartes was arrested on May 15 for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of two children, a first-degree felony. He has been booked into the McLennan County Jail.
