Woman arrested after threatening boyfriend with knife

BELLMEAD, TX (KXXV) -

The Bellmead Police Department said they arrested a woman who threatened her boyfriend with a knife on Friday. 

Officers responded to the 1000 block of January St. in reference to a disturbance call involving a knife. 

The 33-year-old victim told officers his girlfriend 33-year-old Pamela Lockett was suppose to leave his home. 

They both got into an argument after Lockett refused to leave the home or ride with anyone. 

Lockett then chose to grab a knife from the kitchen and threatened the victim. 

The victim then left the house and called police.

Lockett was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, she was transported to McLennan County Jail.
