Are you not a runner? Or maybe you are but don't want to overexert yourself.
Regardless, here is the race for you.
Similarly to the race in Boerne that made headlines, you can find the 0.5K race here in Waco this September.
How far is a 0.5K, you ask? Well, it's a tough 546 yards.
The race is organized by "the local chapter of the Society of Lazy and Carefree Runners (SLACR)" according to the event's Facebook page.
The race will be held on Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. at Indian Springs Park. Registration is currently $25 but will increase after July 1. Participants will receive a medal, sticker and t-shirt.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Interested? Sign up here.
