A man was arrested for the kidnapping of his estranged wife and children.
Waco police said that Mario Aguilar-Oscoy was taken to jail after being served four aggravated kidnapping warrants. Police said that Aguilar-Oscoy allegedly kidnapped his wife and three children, ranging in age from 2 to 8.
Aguilar-Oscoy kidnapped the family at gunpoint and took them to Mexico by bus in 2017, according to police.
Aguilar-Oscoy's wife escaped with the kids in early 2018.
Aguilar-Oscoy was in custody in East Texas for an unrelated crime and was brought to McLennan County Jail once released.
His bond is set for $750,000.
