The field is set for this weekend’s 2018 NJCAA Region V North Softball Tournament being hosted at The Ballfield at Craig Ranch in McKinney. The tournament features the top six teams from the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference vying for a regional championship with the winner advancing to the NJCAA Division I Softball Championship May 16-19 in St. George, Utah.
The McLennan Highlassies, the No. 3 seed, will face the Grayson Lady Vikings, the No. 6 seed, in the opening game of the double-elimination tournament at noon Friday.
