(KXXV) -

OREO fans rejoice! The long-awaited three finalists from the #MyOreoCreation Contest have finally hit the shelves nationwide - for a limited time.

Cherry Cola flavored OREO cookies, Kettle Corn flavored OREO cookies and Piña Colada flavored OREO Thins cookies are the three finalist submissions from the first-ever OREO flavor contest.

The #MyOreoCreation Contest reviewed submissions and developed hundreds of prototypes from entries, giving fans a custom sample of their own flavor idea. Other entries include Coffee and Donuts, Avacado and Unicorn flavored cookies.

The submissions were narrowed down based on taste appeal, creativity and originality.

"We were blown away by not only the volume of flavor ideas we received as part of our #MyOreoCreation Contest, but also by the creativity and imagination of our fans," said Pam Clarkson, Associate Director North American OREO Equity. "The response to the contest underscored fan passion around OREO flavor innovation and we're thrilled with our three newest, limited-edition OREO cookie flavors – we can't wait for people to try them and let us know which they think should be the winning flavor!"

Fans can vote for their favorite finalist from April 30 through June 30 online at myoreocreation.com.

The winning flavor will be announced on July 7, awarding the creator $500,000.

The flavor finalists were submitted by Robert D. of Westfield, Massachusetts for Kettle Corn flavored cookies, Eden F. Winnetka, California for Cherry Cola flavored cookies and David M. of Bellmawr, New Jersey for Piña Colada flavored cookies.
