Two people arrested after caught with numerous types of drugs during traffic stop

CORSICANA, TX (KXXV) -

The Corsicana Police Department said they arrested two people after they were caught with numerous types of drugs during a traffic stop on Saturday. 

Officers stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights. When officers made contact with the occupants they smelled a strong odor of marijuana. 

The occupants were asked out of their vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted.  

During the search, officers found 11 ounces of raw marijuana, 119 candy suckers containing THC, 17 marijuana brownies, 16 baggies of cocaine, digital scales, 21 servings of LSD, numerous containers of THC oils, psilocybin mushrooms (also known as magic mushrooms) and over 4,000 grams of chocolate covered in psilocybin mushrooms. 

The two occupants were each arrested for 4 charges of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of a dangerous drug. 

The driver was also arrested and charged with prohibited weapon due to a large club in the vehicle.
