Several lawyers took the time to give back to veterans in Bell County Friday.
Veterans had a chance to sit down with a lawyer free of charge and discuss any type of legal situation they might be in.
Nearly 15 attorneys were able to stop by the Texas Workforce Commission in Killeen and spend time with the veterans throughout the day.
Many of them said it was a great feeling to be able to both support our veterans and give back to the community.
People came seeking help with a variety of questions ranging from family to criminal cases. Many of whom left with a smile on their and feeling grateful for the help.
The Bell County Bar Association has been offering this service for nearly eight years and says it plan to continue the event for years to come.
