The three-time defending national champion Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team (8-0) is ready to defend its title, starting Thursday at 4 p.m. CT in the quarterfinals of the National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) National Championships in Erie, Pennsylvania.

After finishing the regular season undefeated, the Bears locked up the top seed for the tournament. They will be matched up against #8 Converse (4-4) for the second time this season. In their first meeting on March 7, the Bears won 280.125-266.555, giving Gannon their second defeat of the year.

The Bears enter this match with a perfect 8-0 record, and six of their wins have come against teams also competing in the NCATA National Championships. If the Bears win Thursday, they will play again Friday against the winner of Oregon/Gannon.
