The Groesbeck Police Department said they received four reports of car burglaries overnight.

Police said the reports were made on the east side of town, near Navasota, Bradley, and Henderson Boulevard areas.

Of the four, three vehicles were left unlocked by the owners and one vehicle had a forced entry.

Items taken included purses and cash.

There were also two motor vehicle burglaries that occurred on the west side of town near Browning and Angeline streets on March 27th.

Out of those two burglaries, one was forced and one was left unlocked.

Police said they want to remind citizens to lock their vehicles when they are left unattended especially during overnight.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information in these cases are asked to call police at 254-729-3497.
