An SUV collided into a van after running a red light in Bryan, according to police.
Around 1 a.m. on Monday morning, a Bryan police officer watched the SUV disregard the red light at the intersection of Texas Ave. and East 23rd St. Police said the SUV then hit the van - causing the SUV to roll over onto its passenger side.
A telephone pole was damaged during the incident.
Bryan police said that the accident resulted in only minor injuries, but the SUV caught fire during the accident. Officers on scene extinguished the fire.
The scene was cleared about 2 a.m.
Police said that other contributing factors that may have caused the collision are under investigation.
