Free child car seat safety check to be held in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

The Williamson County Emergency Services will be hosting a free child car seat safety check.

The child car seat check will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Williamson EXPO Center located at 5350 Bill Pickett Trail in Taylor. 

Certified child passenger safety technicians from Williamson County EMS and Austin/Travis County EMS will assist families with car seat safety inspections, checking for expired seats and any recall information, along with educating families on recommended car seat use.
