The College Station Police Department said they are searching for a driver that hit three pedestrians on Sunday.

Officers responded to a vehicle crash involving pedestrians in the 100 block of University Dr.

When officers arrived they found that there were three pedestrians that were hit by a vehicle while crossing the exit ramp that leads from westbound University Drive to Wellborn Road.

Witnesses told police that there was a group of people crossing the street in or near the crosswalk when a pickup truck that was traveling westbound on University Drive attempted to use the exit ramp.

Three people were struck.

Two of them were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan.

The third person reported that she would go to the hospital by personal vehicle for minor injuries.

The two who were transported by ambulance were later found to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the vehicle that struck the pedestrians was described as a silver/gray or light blue Toyota Tundra pickup truck.

It was driven by a man in his 20’s or 30’s and was described to be 6’ to 6’2, average build, with brown hair and unshaven.

Police said the truck left the scene before emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
