The top six are: 1) Alabama, 2) Clemson, 3) Miami , 4) Oklahoma , 5) Wisconsin, and 6) Auburn.

Alabama reaped the rewards of former number one Georgia losing, while Miami jumped ahead following their beat down victory over former number 3 Notre Dame.

Clemson has more wins against teams with winning records (6) than any other team in the country. Oklahoma touts wins over Ohio State and TCU to bolster their resume.

Undefeated Wisconsin is at number 5 largely due to their weak schedule, but winning out would likely put them in the playoff. Auburn's demolition of former number one Georgia put them at 6, but without a southeastern conference title, they would be on the outside looking in.

TCU is the only team from Texas ranked (12) after their loss to Oklahoma last week. The full ranking is below.
