Driver caught with xanax, meth, heroin after flagging down police

Corsicana police arrested a person caught with numerous drugs after they flagged down an officer on Tuesday morning. 

The officer noticed a vehicle stopped at a green light near the intersection of E. Highway 31 and I-45 when the driver flagged him down.

The officer discovered the driver's license had been suspended and arrested him for driving with an invalid license with previous convictions. 

Additional police officers arrived to take inventory of the vehicle when they found a large bag of Xanax weighing about 12 grams, multiple small containers of methamphetamine weighing about 1.7 grams, multiple bags of tar heroin, a large amount of what police believe is heroin in capsules weighing about 15 grams, digital scales, syringes and several other paraphernalia. 

The driver was then additionally charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1 over four grams and under 200 grams, a first-degree felony, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1 over one gram under four grams, a second-degree felony and possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 3 under 28 grams.
