Police investigate former KISD teacher found stab wounds in front yard

LAMPASAS COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

The Lampasas County Sheriff's office said they are investigating the death of a former KISD teacher found stabbed in his front yard.

On Nov. 3 Lampasas County deputies and Texas Rangers found the body of 66-year-old Harold Francis Leate Jr. lying in the front yard of his residence in the 200 block of County Road 3344. Investigators said they suspected foul play. 

Leate was a teacher at Nolan Middle School.

Two days later, autopsy of the victim revealed numerous stab and cut wounds to the body

Police are pursuing investigative leads and expect to make an arrest. 

No other information was released.
