The Waco Police Department said they arrested a man for shooting another man and a woman on Saturday morning.
Officers received a disturbance with a shooting call on Nov. 4 at 10:15 a.m. at the 700 block of Frost.
Police determined that 51-year-old Jerald Johnson shot a 25-year-old victim.
The victim received a gunshot wound to the back.
A woman, who was also shot in her arm, had been transported to Providence ER by private vehicle.
She had been wounded in the crossfire by Johnson, who is her father.
Police believe that the 25-year-old victim also fired at Johnson in retaliation before officers arrived.
Johnson was arrested at the scene for the aggravated assault.
The case remains under investigation.
