UMHB changes QBs before conference clinching game

Mary Hardin-Baylor football has won more than 20 games in a row, but now the Crusaders say its time for a change at quarterback.

Head Coach Pete Fredenburg announced Freshman Carl Robinson III will start the Nov 4 contest against Louisiana College. The Ellison High alum has split time with Sophomore, Kyle Jones, but Fredenburg says he wants Robinson to, "have the persona of a quarterback."

With a win Saturday, the Crusaders would clinch their 12th straight share of the American Southwestern Conference title. UMHB has won that crown 15 years out of 20.

The Cru start their bid to beat Louisiana College Nov 4 at 1 p.m..
