14-year-old that went missing at carnival was found safe

Police said the 14-year-old girl who went missing while attending a carnival with friends has been found safe. 

College Station police said that Martha Ruiz, 14, was attending the carnival on the 1500 block of Harvey Road when she left to go to the food court. She was reported missing by her foster family. Officers searched the carnival, mall grounds and other locations her family said she could be but have not found her. 

Ruiz's foster family is from the Hearne area but the teen has friends and family in the Bryan and College Station area. 

Ruiz is 5-feet-2-inches and weighs 140 pounds. She is Hispanic and has brown eyes, brown hair, braces and a tattoo on her wrist. 

Ruiz was found within the city of College Station on Nov. 2.
