A 50-year-old man is in the hospital with incapacitating injuries after he was hit by a train, police said.
The man was walking when he was hit a train going southbound near Cain Road and Wellborn Road around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Police said the incident appears to be an accident. The area was shut down several hours after the accident for investigation.
College Station police are continuing to investigate. They say no criminal charges are expected to be filed.
