The Central Texas College in Killeen is warning the public of a possible phone scam in which callers are identifying themselves as members of the CTC police department.
The CTC was alerted by residents that they have received calls from someone soliciting donations for the CTC police.
The CTC said the campus police is not conducting any fundraiser and is not soliciting for donations of any kind.
The CTC has also not contracted anyone to conduct fundraisers on their behalf.
The CTC campus police strongly advise those who receive such calls to ignore such requests and not divulge any confidential information.
