A man has been killed after his motorcycle crashed in the 4400 block of Elm Rd. in Killeen.
On Thursday night when officers arrived, they found a motorcycle and a man identified as 46-year-old Xavier La Monde Banks lying on the ground.
Police believe the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when he lost control and hit a pole.
He was declared dead at 12:40 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.
An autopsy is being ordered at Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas.
