UMHB women's soccer earns number 4 ranking

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s soccer team is ranked fourth in the NCAA Regional Rankings, released Wednesday

 

UMHB is in fourth in the West Region at 13-2-1 on the season.  Hardin-Simmons leads the region at 15-0, followed Cal Lutheran in second at 13-2-2 and Trinity in third at 15-1-0. UT-Dallas is the fifth-place team at 13-3 followed by Pacific Lutheran in sixth at 11-3. The NCAA Regional Rankings are used to determine selections and seedings for the NCAA Division III National Championships. Wins over regionally ranked opponents is another part of the criteria used in selecting and seeding those teams. UMHB is currently 1-1 against West Region opponents. The Cru returns to action on Thursday, October 26th in a 7 p.m. match against Sul Ross State University at the UMHB Soccer Field in Belton.
