Police have identified the man who died in an auto-pedestrian accident as 53-year-old Albert Faulkner, Sr., of Leander, Texas
Police are still working to figure out what caused the accident.
Troy police and volunteer fire crews were called to the I-35 frontage road in the 1600 block of Central Ave. just before 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.
When they arrived, they found bystanders trying to revive the man, along with the driver of the pickup truck that hit him.
First responders declared Faulkner dead at the scene.
Police say they don't anticipate any charges will be filed against the driver of the pickup.
