A 24-year-old man is dead after a wreck that happened on Wednesday.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said that Jacob Cahoon was traveling east on F.M. 485 near Maysfield just before midnight when the sedan went off to the side of the road, hitting a guardrail, going airborne and hitting an embankment.
DPS said Cahoon was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed at the scene.
