College coaches respect the Baylor men's basketball program and they showed their love in the polls.
The Big 12 coaches picked the Bears to finish fifth in the conference, while the USA Today coaches' poll listed Baylor as number 24 in their preseason rankings.
Scott Drew's Bears finished tied for second in the Big 12 last year with a 12-6 record. This is the fifth time Baylor has been nationally ranked in the preseason.
Baylor opens its basketball season Nov 10 with a home game against Central Arkansas.
