A Texas DPS trooper has seized about 33 pounds of methamphetamine in Carson County, worth approximately $2.8 million.
On Oct. 5, the trooper stopped 38-year-old Roberto Guillen, of Las Vegas on I-40 for a traffic violation. The trooper then discovered multiple plastic-covered bundles of methamphetamine inside the spare tire.
Guillen was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
DPS said the drugs were allegedly being transported from Las Vegas to Oklahoma City.
