The Veterans One Stop in Waco helped celebrate the birthdays of eight World War II veterans Wednesday.

Six of them were born in October, one in September, and another -- 94-year-old Ira L. Walton -- in November.

Walton isn't just a World War II vet, though. He also served in the Korean War and Vietnam.

He said he doesn't have any secrets to his long life, just living healthy and staying as safe as he can.

"Every day when I think about it, I'm very fortunate I have been able to have survived three conflicts and never been wounded or injured," Walton said.

Walton said playing table tennis for the past 75 years has helped keep him in shape. He's even played, and won, against other vets at nationwide competitions.

The oldest World War II veteran at the celebration was a young 103 years old.
