Traffic alert: Street closures begin Tuesday morning in preparation of 'Silobration'

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

Heads up to Waco commuters everywhere. 

Magnolia's "Silobration" is back and with it, road closures. 

Waco police said that street closures in preparation for the Oct. 12-14 event will begin Tuesday, Oct. 10. at 6 a.m. 

Here's what roads will be closed: 

  • The 500 block of Webster Avenue to 8th Street will be closed
  • Jackson from 6th to 8th Streets
  • S. 6th from Jackson to Clay 

The streets will be closed until 1 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15. 

There will be free parking at McLane Stadium Thursday through Saturday, with the Silo trolley running as well.
