Waco police said that a man was shot in the knee by a known acquaintance at the 1100 block of Calumet around Sunday afternoon. Police said the shooting was over a woman.
Police said the 31-year-old victim was transported to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest by a private vehicle.
The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
