Two men were in the Hill County jail Sunday morning after firing shots toward a business and leading deputies on a chase.

The Hill County Sheriff's Office said a constable leaving the Texas Great Country Cafe in Whitney heard gunshots coming from around the building.

As he came to the back, the sheriff's office said the constable saw two men in a car hunting from the road and shooting toward the business.

The constable said he began chasing Jessie Davis and Justin Flores but eventually lost track of them after they left their car and ran.

Deputies, who found the car they were driving, said the two men stole it from a home in Moody and used it to break into a Bosque County home where they stole seven long guns.

Eventually, deputies learned who the two men were and talked to their families who convinced them to turn themselves in to deputies.

They're both facing a number of charges, including deadly conduct.
