Police: Car left family's home after missing 3-year-old put outside

TEXAS (KXXV) -

The search for a missing 3-year-old is still underway in Richardson, TX.

Police said that Sherin Mathews was last seen in Richardson. The 3-year-old is Asian, 36" tall, weighs 22 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink top and black pajama bottoms on Oct. 7. 

WFAA-TV reports that Richardson police said that the Amber Alert was discontinued due to a lack of leads. 

On Thursday, Oct. 12, Richardson police announced that they had received information that the Mathew's 2013 maroon Acura MDX SUV was absent from the family's home on Oct. 7 from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. 

Police are asking for anyone living in the Sunningdale area to check any video that could contain the vehicle.
